Project descriptionThe project provides for construction and putting into operation of two combined cycle power units of total installed capacity 200 MW. The building site is located in the area of Defanovka settlement in Tuapse region of Krasnodar Territory of the RF.
Construction of Dzhubga TPP is included in the “Program for Facilities Construction of Olympic Venues and Development of Sochi as Mountain Climate Resort”, approved by the Russian Federation Government Regulation No.991 of 29 December, 2007.
Construction took place in the mountains with high seismicity. Power plant commissioning provided the 2014 Winter Olympic Games facilities with power capacities and satisfied the demand for power in the dynamically developing South of Russia.
The Power Plant was launched in 2013.
